Darren Aronofsky Directs Film Narrated by Chloe Sevigny and Joseph Gordon-Levitt

Sierra Club uses patriotic words about America to highlight concern about the environment in a stirring ad promoting its climate march later this month.

The spot was directed by director Darren Aronofsky ("Black Swan") of Chromista and features narration by actors Chloe Sevigny and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, reciting excerpts from the Declaration of Independence, The Constitution, The Gettysburg Address, God Bless America, the Statue of Liberty Inscription, and The Oath of Office of the President of the United States. This is accompanied by footage, first of of iconic American landscapes, and then of the effects of pollution and the havoc wreaked by climate change in the aftermath of hurricanes and natural disasters.

Aronofsky, a board member for the Sierra Club Foundation, served as executive producer on the film, by creative agency All City. The project is a collaboration between Chromista, All City and Sierra Club.
