Jess Brunetto is a queer comedy witch whose expertise is blending humor and heart into visually and emotionally compelling stories. After receiving a BFA from the SUNY Purchase Film Conservatory, she started her career as an editor for Michael Moore and her work has screened at film festivals around the world. She is known for cutting female driven comedies such as Broad City, Awkwafina Is Nora From Queens, and A League Of Their Own. Most notably she was nominated for two Emmys for editing Hacks. SISTERS, her directorial debut short, premiered at SXSW and won Best Drama at the Female Voices Rock Film Festival. Recently she directed her first episode of television for the award-winning series Hacks and a commercial for the brand Thinx.
